In the June issue of Texas Monthly, I will be featured as a 2012 Five Star Real Estate Agent named in excelling in customer satisfaction! How was I chosen? Surveys were sent to Austin and Central Texas region residents who purchased a home over $150,000 between July 2010 and July 2011. An additional 250 surveys were sent to mortgage and title companies.

The survey data was collected and scored, resulting in the list of 2012 Austin Five Star Real Estate Agents. The research methodology allows only 7% or fewer real estate agents in a given market to qualify for the Five Star award.

I was honored this year to be named a Top 50 Austin Realtor at the Austin Business Journal Residential Real Estate Awards. The awards ceremony was held March 7th at the AT&T Conference Center. The award was based on 2011 sales volume.

The Platinum Top 50 Awards Program annually recognizes fifty Austin residential realtors for their outstanding achievements in: sales, education, industry participation and civic leadership. I was a semifinalist for this award in 2011. Platinum Top 50 Winners exemplify: initiative, involvement, success, and philanthropy.

I tweet my listings, anywhere from an hour to a day prior to putting them into the multiple listing service. Recently a buyer, who had lost out on several properties in multiple offer and backup offer situations, had been following me on twitter and saw THE house on my twitter feed. The full color photos and description on the tweet was enough for him to make a sight un-seen offer the next morning! He got the home!
